Welcome to our site! Dr. Rosanna Jones-Thurman is a clinical psychologist licensed in Iowa and Nebraska. Dr. Jones-Thurman specializes in child and family issues and multiculturalism. She has been in private practice in Omaha, Nebraska since 2000 and was previously in practice in Harlan, Iowa from 1995-2000 in a community mental health center. She opened a private practice in Council Bluffs, Iowa in 2007. Thurman Psychological LLC currently provides psychological services in Omaha, Nebraska and Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Dr. Jones-Thurman sees a variety of children and adolescents for individual and family therapy and specializes in psychological assessment and testing. She has experience in working with law enforcement agencies, domestic abuse issues, child abuse issues, divorce issues and children with behavioral problems. She also provides evaluations for Iowa and Nebraska Disability, forensic, law enforcement, fitness for duty and IME evaluations. She provides evaluations for various schools, juvenile court systems, DHS and CPS agencies as well as health care professionals. She provides supervision and consultation to several counseling centers and their programs. She also sees adults with anxiety, depression, PTSD and ADHD.
